Kurt O. John  Shoe Components is one of the largest and most reputed shoe  component  manufacturers  in  the world with its factory in India.

Kurt O. John Shoe Components was founded in 1961 in Germany with a factory in Muenchweiler (160 km South of Frankfurt) which initially started with the production of top lifts for heels. Soles were added to the product range in 1969 and heels in 1972. The Company expanded over the years and shifted later its factory to India in 1994. The output of this plant is over 5 million pairs a year and approximately 150 personnel are employed in this plant. The Company has consistently manufactured and exported a variety of shoe components of the highest and most stringent quality and of the latest design.

Kurt O. John has an in house design team and new designs are constantly being added at the rate of about 100 new designs per year. The product range consists of more than 1000 different models of soles and more than 600 models of heels.

The entire range of the products are exhibited in big show rooms in the factory and in their offices. Kurt O. John takes part in all major exhibitions relating to shoe industry where samples of some of the latest products are displayed.
